Talking Boys 2023

boys to MEN Foundation held its “Talking Boys (and Raising Good Men)” programme on Friday, 23rd June 2023, at the Wheatbaker in Ikoyi. It proved to be a most engaging and soul-searching conversation on the topic, “Interrogating the Practice of Parenting in Today’s World: What should we be doing?” A sobering observation was that “The world we see today is the world we created and deserve” (Ayodeji). Indeed, our parenting styles are responsible for what we see in society, good and bad, so we have the power to change it by interrogating and changing our parenting. We must be intentional.

Our panellists were Ayodeji Bankole-Olusina, Dame Bridget Itsueli, Aniola Durosinmi-Etti, and Ikenna Odike, moderated by Ifeoma Idigbe, the Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of the Foundation.
