International Day of the Boy Child Celebration

On May 16th, 2025, we had the pleasure of engaging with the students at Supreme Education Foundation School, Magodo, in a special session to commemorate the International Day of the Boy Child.

The Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of boys to MEN Foundation, Mrs. Ifeoma Idigbe led a discussion, sharing selected poems from her book that reimagine what it truly means to grow from boys into men—not just by society’s traditional standards, but through empathy, self-awareness, and respect.

The session explored issues around:

  • It is OK for boys and men to cry, to seek help, and to express vulnerability.
  • Generational norms should be challenged when they no longer serve a just or healthy purpose.
  • Men can and should be supportive partners, respecting their wives and providing equal platforms for growth and success.

It was an inspiring and enlightening conversation—one that left a lasting impact on everyone present.

Here’s to raising a generation of men who lead with compassion, courage, and consciousness.
