International Men’s Day

Finally! We have had a robust conversation around what it means to be a man’s world and the implied expectations of men, based on our conversation topic ‘It’s a Man’s World: Reality or Myth in the 21st Century.’ Privilege means responsibility; roles can be defined by capability when you consider your wife to be your partner and friend; the pressure on men to deliver has serious consequences for their wellbeing including suicide (the theme of International Men’s Day 2023); men too need help and support and should not be ashamed to ask for it. It does not make them weak. In fact, it is a man of courage who seeks help. Men, too, are human. #MalesMatterToo.
