It’s My Time’ Leadership and Life Skills programme

boys to MEN Foundation had an inspiring session of honest dialogue, and impactful learning at the NUTM, ‘ It’s My Time’ Leadership and Life Skills programme for undergraduates on Tuesday May 6th, 2025, facilitated by Mrs. Ifeoma I. Idigbe, the founder of boys to MEN Foundation.

Discussions covered various topics including:

  • The power of unbounded and critical thinking
  • Integrity as a foundation for self-representation
  • Embracing mistakes and early failures as tools for growth
  • Upholding truth as a core principle of leadership
  • Accepting and living by core values
  • The impact of intentional parenting on young people

There was a breakout session to discuss issues identified by participants as being key challenges faced by today’s youth. They include social media addiction, relationships, identity crisis, peer pressure, misplaced priorities, time management, and procrastination. Each group worked to proffer meaningful solutions to one issue and made presentations to the whole class.

Mrs. Ifeoma Idigbe gave an insightful talk on multipotentiality, its challenges and how to thrive with it, and the importance of self-discovery in shaping a fulfilling life path. She also talked about the importance of financial discipline, and taught them a simple way to budget.

The participants gave positive feedback on the programme, and said they were already looking forward to the next session.
